Colette (she/her) draws on her background in interior design to bring a unique perspective on movement, alignment, and spatial awareness to each class. Focused on cultivating mind-body connection, control, and mindful movement, she helps clients develop stability and confidence on and off the mat. Passionate about crafting flowing sequences that honor the uniqueness of every body, she is excited to share her love of this transformative practice with the studio community and beyond.

Dana has been immersed in the world of movement for most of her life; throughout her formative years training intensively in various dance forms, graduating from the Performing Arts Program at George Brown College, and sustaining a 20-year career as a performer and dance educator. Her curiosity for movement continues to evolve. Dana became passionate about Pilates as it impacted her life as a professional dancer and became necessary for injury prevention and rehabilitation. This passion would continue to grow as she became a new mother and the physical changes and demands of parenthood expanded her view on how Pilates can help heal, build strength, confidence, and increase body awareness. Once thought of as a complement to her career in dance, Dana soon realized this new discipline was rich with unbounded knowledge and became a certified Pilates Instructor through the Pilates Process method in Mat, Reformer, Stability Chair, and Therapeutic Pilates. Her classes are foundation-focused and geared towards enhancing core strength, isolating different muscle groups, improving coordination, and focusing on fluidity of breath and movement. Guiding her clients through exercises, Dana uses a personalized lens to help her clients work toward individual goals—whether improving mobility and range of movement, increasing strength, or working towards less pain—with building individual confidence as a top priority.

For the past four years, I have been a certified Reformer Pilates instructor with Polestar Academy. In addition to teaching Reformer, I am also a Zumba Instructor and a certified Personal Trainer.

Her movement journey began early in life, and she knew that dance would be her driving force. Cross-training became an integral part of her performance career for the purpose of injury prevention and overall strength building, which led to her studies in Barre Fitness, Pilates, and Mobility work. Her mission is to educate, equip, and empower others on their path towards soulful living. Providing people of all ages and skill levels with safe, functional, and inspiring movement modalities is a huge passion of hers.
